Leonard, the Human Jukebox

Post image for Leonard, the Human Jukebox

This afternoon, after enjoying the Audubon “Aquarium of the Americas,” we headed outside to grab a hotdog from a weenie vendor (sadly, no Paradise carts could be found). While we sat in the shade, this older gent on a bicycle approached us.

“Beautiful ladies, and gentlemen, and babies, I am Leonard, the human jukebox. I sing identical to, or better than, twelve famous singers: Otis Redding, Al Green, B.B. King….” and the list went on.

Quite a character.

We enjoyed “Dock Of The Bay” and “Let’s Stay Together” with our dogs.

He told us at the outset that he accepted whatever the public chose to give him. He got $5 from us for two songs, which I felt was a steal!
