Updated Portfolio/Gallery
March 19, 2008
I finally got around to updating my Portfolio/Gallery with recent images (from Uganda and the Northwest). I am using SlideShowPro for Adobe Lightroom, and so far, I’m really liking it. At some point in the near future I hope to convert kendallball.com into my main photography site, and move the blog to a subdomain or a subdirectory. I’m not sure how all that will work, but eventually, that’s my goal.
I have tried to organize a variety of photos into the three themes: People, Places & Things. I don’t have a niche yet, and I figure the only money to be made in the near future is as a sort of generalist, so I wanted to showcase a diverse range of subjects, and show some of the style I’m starting to develop.
So, head over to kendallball.com/portfolio and tell me what you think. What do you like? What doesn’t work? I am not really happy with the CONTACT section, and that will be the first thing I fix. In the meantime, though, it’s sufficient. Your feedback is welcomed and appreciated!

I really like it, are the blank boxes going to be filled with other categories in the near future? It does feel like it would be a little hollow if it was left as it was. The navigation was smooth, and enjoyable.
Im a big fan of the minimalist approach, so I am very much down with the overall vision for it.

Thanks, Dave…I like the minimalist approach myself. I hope to fill the other blocks in the future…possibly one with reportage, one with random shots that don’t really fit, and we’ll see what the others turn in to. I appreciate the feedback.
