Lions in Kruger

I have taken so many photographs during the past few years that I am constantly forgetting any given number of shots, and then being pleasantly surprised when I stumble across them again.

This is one from a few days Sara and I spent in Kruger National Park in South Africa just before Christmas last year. It was quite hot, and these guys were just hanging out in the shade trying to keep cool, while we were content to sit and watch them for a while. No cages, no bars…
