A sign on some high-tension electric wires near Abilene, Texas. Perhaps for the more discerning photographer Abilene and West Texas might offer more interesting sights, but after living here for five years, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s pretty ugly, flat and boring.

But, every once in a while I’ll send myself out on a photo safari to try to force myself to take a half-way interesting picture, as a form of photographic discipline. I’m not sure it’s working…
